Hello! Thank you so much for considering signing up for my camp. 

My name is Koharu and I am currently a senior at Gunn High School.  

I was first introduced to the euglena in my sophomore year and ever since, I have been hooked; it completely amazes me how a microscopic organism that existed since forever is now helping our modern world.

I really enjoy learning of the chemistry that occurs between the process of microorganism to biofuel. 

At college next year, I hope to continue connecting with this organism and want to pursue some sort of research in creating these biofuels more efficiently to make them more available. 

Wanting to share my interest with others, I decided to design this camp. 

Hopefully the campers soon grow to love this organism as much as I do!
